The damper and mounts are great. It's a nice kit, and it looks good on my Norden Expedition. I haven't yet ridden with it, but I expect it to perform as reported by dozens of reviews. I purchased this versus the local Scotts damper kit because I'm 5'8" and it's 10mm less tall. In addition, it shows all three positions as accessible, so I can move the bars in closer. All the other mounts make you use the 2nd or 3rd mount. Wanting a straighter bar, I was happy to be able to utilize the rearmost mount. Unfortunately, the rear mount is exposed, but the parts are machined such that I still cannot mount this with the rear holes unless I want to forgo the APEX anti-vib mount and use the stock fixed bar clamps. We'll see.
I left a 1-star review because I couldn't get a response from Adventure On Store, having a status. "Order Received" for over 30 days. Nelson Elgueta responded almost immediately after the review, and I received another email with a "Thanks for your order" and status, "Order Received". It moved quickly after that. I think someone dropped the ball and lost my order. It finally showed up more than 45 days from my initial order, but I have it now. The box tape was cut as if someone had opened it, but that may be an international shipping inspection. Everything appears in place and untouched. Based on my experience and other reviews, I gather Adventure On Store is someone running an e-commerce virtual store that drop-ships everything and probably stocks nothing.
Deducted 1 star for MSC's misrepresentation of the mounting possibilities and another for taking an exorbitant amount of time to receive my order. I would buy local if I were to do it again. Ultimately, I'm satisfied.
