Getting a flat on the trail is a big enough pain without having a way to hold your bike in the air to remove your wheels. If you can purchase a centre stand for your bike it will certainly help but how much does it weight and will it keep the front wheel off the ground?
These little units weight only 350 grams/12 ounces and are easily cable tied to your bike or even fit in your tool bag or paniers. They also come with a second piece which is a small bracket that attached to the top of the stand. One end fits nicely under the swing arm while the other fits better up the front of the bike. Drilling a small hole in the front right side of the bash plate if there's nowhere else to attached it and can have the front wheel off the ground in seconds.
It comes with a Velcro strap to lock the front brake while you lifting the rear wheel.
Also great to use for a quick chain lube.
I received my order in a a reasonable time. The build quality of the trail stand is excellent and it is light and easy to use. For my DRZ400 SM it does seem a little long so I will probably cut it down about 50mm. But overall an awesome piece of gear.
Looks well thought out
Well made and very practical.
Purchased this stand after many hours of reviewing and watching You tube videos of stands that are currently available. Works very well for both my bikes and applications. The only thing I would like would be a bag / storage for the stand and for the attachment. That way I can strap / attach to the bike or to a piece of luggage on the bike.
