The BMW Control Buttons are a specific add-on for the BMW Control HUB and they are not required for the core controller functionality. The BMW Control Buttons expand the core BMW Multicontroller functionality by additional 4 user configurable buttons. 

The BMW Control Buttons feature a specific ergonomic shape designed to integrate directly with the OEM e-throttle housing. They are not universal and are only compatible with the following models:

R-Series: R 1200 GS/GSA (2013+, all liquid-cooled generations), R 1250 GS/GSA.

F-Series: F 750 GS (2018+), F 800 GS (2024+), F 850 GS/GSA (2018–2023), F 900 GS/GSA (2024+).

XR-Series: F 900 XR and S 1000 XR (K49 model only).

Important for S 1000 XR owners: Only compatible with the K49 generation (manufactured up to 2019). It is NOT compatible with the K69 model (2018–present). Always verify your model code before ordering.

The BMW Control Buttons seamlessly integrate with the bike e-throttle assembly and are mounted on top of the stock e-throttle housing. Plug-and-play. No stock handlebar controls need to be re-positioned.
