KTM 690 Enduro R 2019-2023 Radiator Guard

I’ve looked at getting one of these for a while now, very well made and fit and finish very well done. They changed them a bit from when I first looked at getting one, they added a flange or skirt along the bottom which has a few benefits. It adds structural strength and stiffness and also helps by offering more coverage to the bottom of the rad from road debris and stuff thrown up from the front tire which are all good things. The only downside is the guard doesn’t fit without modification to the skirt to fit with my outback crash guard. That too is ok i can do that, although i’m sure that will void the warranty. Between the rad guard and the crash bars the rad is well protected. The thing i didn't really care for was the cutouts in the skirt that said 690 R on one side and radguard on the other. It may look ok if the skirt doesn’t need to be trimmed to fit with the crash guard but trimmed it doesn’t look as clean and looses some of the added rigidity of the addition of the skirt in the first place because of trimming into the cutouts. Even if I didn’t need to trim the skirt I think i would have preferred the skirt clean without the cutouts for both the looks and increased strength, but that is just my personal preference.
In short, a great product, strong very well built and would highly recommend as in a must to protect your rad from road debris (we get a lot of rock thrown from oncoming traffic) as well as front tire castoff and trail hazards.

I have just fitted the radguard to my 2023 KTM690 enduro R. I am disappointed by the fit. The radiator sits out beyond the side fairing and if you use your bike off road like I do, and have crash bars fitted, the radguard clashes with the cross member (which most crash bars have). I think the bottom screw brackets are too far out, stopping the guard sitting further back (a small bracket can be cut off the bottom of the radiator to facilitate this). The guard should also have a top lip to prevent stones dropping in the top and the down stands need to be reshaped to suit crash bars. I have Australian crash bars from Outback Motortek, so it should be easy enough to get samples.

Easy to install, fit and finish was top notch. Metal is a lot thicker and sturdier in person than what the picture shows. Should provide great protection from rocks and debris.

Looks amazing on the bike, and was finally able to get rid of the useless stock plastic one.
